Simbu promises a Billa spin-off in 2018
Following the successful reboot of Billa series by Ajith and Rajinikanth, who brought it to Tamil from Bollywood, Simbu has now announced in a Periscope session with his fans that he will work on a Billa spin-off in 2018 and play the role of an international don.
The announced picked up steam when Venkat Prabhu took to Twitter and expressed his interest to direct the film with music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Simbu promptly replied to Venkat Prabhu saying, “poranthathula irundhey ready …. lets rock it #Billa2018.”
Simbu is currently awaiting the release of Achcham Yenbathu Madamaiyada on July 15th. The highly-awaited album composed by AR Rahman will be launched on June 17th.
