Shruti Haasan to star in Karthi – Nagarjuna’s bi-lingual?

We earlier reported here that Tamannah was the frontrunner to be paired with Karthi in director Vamsi Paidipally’s Tamil-Telugu bi-lingual drama. Now, the latest news is Shruti Haasan has been approached for the team and is impressed by the story and her role in the film. The film, which features Karthi and Nagarjuna in lead roles, is said to be a feel-good bromance.

Shruti Haasan is currently part of Vijay 58 in Tamil and Mahesh Babu’s untitled next in Telugu. But, she has a slew of projects in Hindi and her dates are jampacked. Sources say Shruti Haasan is likely to confirm her availability in a week or two.
