Shankar extends heartfelt apology to photographers on ‘2.o’ sets

Director Shankar extended his heartfelt apology to two photojournalists who were reportedly assaulted by the bouncers of ‘2.o’ on sets yesterday.

The two photographers, who are from The Hindu group, questioned the team about the timing of shooting in Triplicane neighborhood. Film shoots in public places are only allowed between 11 PM and 6 AM. When the ‘2.o’ team was shooting till 8 AM yesterday, causing disturbance to the public, the photographers asked whether the team had permission to shoot now, before a bouncer and few crew members allegedly manhandled them.

A complaint was filed with the police station, which was later withdrawn after Shankar apologized to the photographers at the press club later in the evening.
