Sarkunam and Vemal team up for Kalavani 2

Director Sarkunam and Vemal are all set to join hands for the third time after Kalavani and Vaagai Sooda Vaa. While the former established Vemal as a lead hero, the latter fetched the team a national award.

Kalavani 2 will also be set in the village backdrop like the first part, but the characters of the movie will be different. Sarkunam is working on the script and he is expected to start the project after he completes his next untitled film with Madhavan.
