Sarabham Movie Preview

The new-age producer CV Kumar’s next film Sarabham is all set to hit screens this Friday. With engaging online contests, the film is riding on the good pre-release buzz in social media platforms. The slick promo videos have left good impact on audiences and the film is likely to give a stiff competition to Siddharth – Lakshmi Menon starrer Jigarthanda at the box-office.

Origin: “I and Leo John Paul were friends since a long time. We both started our career with Gautham Menon sir. We are like a team. Later, Leo introduced me to CV Kumar. He liked the script very much that they started shoot from the third day of their meeting,” says director Arun Mohan

Cast: Naveen Chandra, Salony Luthra, Aadukalam Naren – These three play important roles in the film. The story explores the two different characteristics (part animal, part human) inside each one of them.

Screenplay: “They will be hooked up throughout the film. The audiences will have myriad number of doubts when they leave the theatre halls. They will start answering their own questions about various sequences. There is not even a single scene which is out of scope for the script,” says Arun Mohan.

Audience Alert: “Every scene is inter-linked to the other. Even if they arrive five or ten minutes, it’s going to be a difficult for them to put the events together” – Arun Mohan

Technical Crew: Leo John Paul, a CV regular has done editing for the film. Michael Britto has composed music and Krishnan of Kalyana Samayal Sadham fame has handled the cinematography. “Michael’s score is the pillar of our film. His background score will linger in your ears after watching the film. That’s the kind of impact he would leave on you. I’m not telling this as the director of the film, but as a film buff. I’m sure he’ll go places,” says Arun Mohan.

Duration of the film: 2 hrs, 16 minutes
