Samuthirakani joins Vada Chennai

Samuthirakani is the latest addition to Dhanush Vetrimaaran’s Vada Chennai, which is expected to go on floors in a jail set in Chennai next week. It must be noted that Samuthirakani won the Best Supporting Actor national award for Vetrimaaran’s investigative thriller Visaaranai.

Jointly produced by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films in association with Lyca Productions, Visaaranai features Dhanush as a gangster. Samantha will be playing the role of a slum dweller and Andrea Jeremiah will reportedly play a prostitute in the film. Santhosh Narayanan composes music for the project.
