Ravi K Chandran and Billa 2 producer team up to remake a French film
As Ravi K Chandran’s debut directorial venture Yaan featuring Jiiva and Thulasi Nair is yet to hit screens, the veteran cinematographer has already signed his second film, a bi-lingual to be made in Hindi and Tamil. The film will be produced by Sunir Kheterpal for Azure Entertainment who earlier co-produced Ajith’s Billa 2. It is an official remake of French thriller Point Blank directed by Fred Cavaye.
Ravi K Chandran confirmed the news in a daily today and said, “We are currently working on the script and will begin casting by the end of the month. I watched the film a few years ago without English subtitles and yet, connected with the plot.” He also added, “Manush Nandan, who is currently filming Happy New Year, will shoot it. There will be another version in Tamil, which will show a different perspective on the same story.” Other details about the cast and the crew are awaited.
