Ratsasan villain says he is overwhelmed by audience’s response

The real Ratsasan of the film Ratsasan was revealed by the team yesterday in a press meet, which brimmed with emotions. The villain of the psychological thriller, who went by the name Christopher in the film, is none other than character artist Saravanan, who played a brief role in Vijay Antony’s Naan.

“It was extremely difficult to bear the makeup and work continuously. Sometimes, he would work non-stop for two to three call sheets with the make-up on his face,” said director Ramkumar.

Ratsasan has grossed nearly Rs 17 crores in Tamil Nadu so far and is nearing the Rs 20 crores mark in the state. The film produced by Axess Film Factory has already become Vishnu Vishal’s highest-grossing offering in his career.
