Rajinikanth calls MSV ‘the god of music’
Ilaiayaraja conducted a special tribute concert ‘Ennullil MSV’ in Kamarajar Arangam, Chennai yesterday. The funds collected from the event were handed over to MSV’s family by Ilaiyaraja. Rajinikanth, who attended the function as a fervent fan of the late legend, said, “Ilaiayaraja is ‘Isai Gnani”. MSV is the god of music. Only a genius disciple knows well about his god. Raja only should let the general public know about the legacy of MSV. I feel privileged to be a part of this show,” said Rajinikanth.
“Those who enjoy immense fame, name and wealth always tend to be on seventh heaven. MSV had zero head-weight. Talent is gifted by god. It doesn’t come from your parents. MSV was gifted with phenomenal talent,” added Rajinikanth in his speech.
