Raahul’s subtle hint suggests Romeo Pictures will back Ajith – Adhik’s AK64
After distributing Good Bad Ugly, Raahul hints at producing AK64 as Ajith Kumar and Adhik Ravichandran reunite for another high-octane entertainer.
The buzz around Ajith Kumar’s next film, AK64, continues to grow, and the latest hint suggests that Romeo Pictures is all set to bankroll the project. While several names had been doing the rounds in connection with producing this high-profile venture, it now seems almost certain that Raahul of Romeo Pictures will be leading the charge.
Directed by Adhik Ravichandran, AK64 marks the second consecutive collaboration between the filmmaker and Ajith Kumar, following the massive success of Good Bad Ugly. Their upcoming reunion has already sparked high expectations among fans and the trade alike.
Raahul, who heads Romeo Pictures, previously served as the distributor for Good Bad Ugly in Tamil Nadu and other territories. His association with team AK goes even deeper as he had worked closely on several of Ajith’s earlier films in the capacity of executive producer, forging a strong rapport with the actor.
Fueling further speculation, Raahul extended a cryptic birthday wish to director Adhik Ravichandran on social media, writing “pAcKed” – subtly highlighting the initials “AK”. Fans were quick to decode the hint, interpreting it as a soft confirmation of Romeo Pictures’ involvement in AK64.

As for the film itself, AK64 is expected to go on floors in November, after Ajith wraps up his car racing commitments, currently scheduled to conclude in Spain by October.
Speculation around the film suggests a harbor-based backdrop with a gritty action narrative. Adding to the excitement, it’s said that Anirudh will compose the music. While an official announcement is yet to be made, all signs point toward an exciting and big-budget entertainer from the Ajith – Adhik combo, backed by one of the industry’s most notable banners. An update from the makers is expected soon, much to the delight of eager fans.
Meanwhile, Ajith Kumar’s super hit outing ‘Attagasam’, directed by Saran is slated for re-release post Diwali, Oct 31st.
