Purampokku marches on to its final leg of shooting!

Director SP Jananathan has wrapped up the long ongoing schedule of Purampokku starring Arya, Vijay Sethupathi, Shaam and Karthika Nair in lead roles. For the past two months, the team has been shooting in a massive jail set erected in binny mills with a bevy of technicians working round the clock. “A month of planning/preparations and couple of months of extensive shoot, thanks to support of all technicians & artists for making this possible,” posted the film’s official page on Facebook.

The team now marches on to its final leg of shooting and the post-production will kickstart after completing this schedule. All the remaining portions of the shoot will be shot in this schedule. The film’s story revolves around capital punishment as its central theme and focusses on the plight of hapless prisoners. It is produced by UTV Motion Pictures.
