Puli will be Vijay’s most expensive film to date: PT Selvakumar

PT Selvakumar, Vijay’s long-term associate and one of the producers of Puli, reveals that this will be Vijay’s most expensive film to date. The shooting for the film is currently under way in a lavishly constructed village set in Talakona, the border of Andhra Pradesh. “We have spared absolutely no expense only because the story demanded it. We have spent quite a bit, yes. I can safely say that this will be Vijay’s most expensive film to date,” says PT Selvakumar.

Vijay plays a painter and his works on the canvas come alive in alternate time period. This forms the films’ basic premise. Directed by Chimbudevan, Puli is in its final stages of shooting. It has music by Devi Sri Prasad. Hansika, Shruti Haasan ,Sridevi and Sudeep are part of the ensemble cast.
