Puli eyes release on Sep 17th for Vinayagar Chaturthi

The makers of Vijay’s Puli are planning to release the film on September 17th for the Vinayar Chaturthi festival to cash in on the four-day weekend. The film is currently under post-production with the VFX works already begun under the supervision of Chimbudevan. Vishal has earlier confirmed that Paayum Puli will release on September. So, it’s going to be Vishal vs Vijay at the box office this September.

The first look of the film is expected to be unveiled on June 22nd to mark the occasion of Vijay’s birthday. Vijay is likely to move on to Vijay 59 with director Atlee from July with the photo-shoot for the film to be completed next month.
