Producer Kalpathi S Aghoram at Bigil Audio Launch: We waited 6 years to do a film with Thalapathy Vijay
Speaking at the Bigil audio launch, producer Kalpathi S Aghoram, through an AV, said, “We waited for 6 years to do this film with Thalapathy Vijay sir. It is the biggest film from our production house. Vijay sir gave us 150 days of call sheet at first, but the shoot went for 170 days. Just like how Baahubali changed the historical genre, Bigil will give a facelift to the sports genre. Atlee has given it his all.”
Producer Archana Kalpathi said, “Thalapathy Vijay sir pushed and worked for extra time beyond the pack up call. He was shooting until 2 at midnight and then would come back to the spot at 7 the next morning. Such efforts at this stage of his career are just too good.”
Bigil is slated to hit screens for Diwali next month worldwide.
