Priyamani roped in to play Sasikala in Jayalalitha biopic Thalaivi
National award-winning actress Priyamani has been roped in to play the role of Sasikala in Jayalalitha biopic Thalaivi directed by Vijay. Sasikala was a longstanding close confidante of the late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and played a significant role in the latter’s political life.
The makers have already announced the release date of the film as 26th June 2020. GV Prakash composes the music for this film. Recently, it was announced that Arvind Swami would be essaying the role of MGR in biopic, which will release simultaneously in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
