Prabhudeva to direct Vadivelu’s next?

The Kollywood grapevine is abuzz that actor-director Prabhu Deva will don the director’s hat for Vadivelu’s next. As Tenaliraman’s release is facing troubles from some fringe groups in Telugu, the master of gags’ next project is already taking shape and in the news. That Prabhudeva and Vadivelu are close companions is well-known. The chemistry between the two has always been a delight to watch onscreen since Kadhalan.

The news is that Prabhudeva will be directing an out and out family entertainer with Vadivelu in the lead role. Their comic scenes in Ilayathalapathy’s Pokkiri were rib-tickling and if the project really kicks off, we are sure the fans will be on cloud nine.
