Pooja Hegde says no to Mani Ratnam!
We earlier reported here that Mugamoodi fame Pooja Hegde will star opposite Hrithik Roshan for a Bollywood film titled Mohenja Daro. Now, apparently, she was approached by Mani Ratnam’s next film but the lanky lass could not accommodate dates for the project since her diary is full with commitments for Mohenja Daro directed by ace film-maker Ashtosh Gowariker of Lagaan, Jodhaa Akbar fame.
Reliable reports say Mani Ratnam’s next film will star Dulquer Salmaan in the lead role. While Nithya Menen was in the running for the female lead, it appears now that she’s also dropped from the film and the makers are on the look out for their lead girl.
