Ponniyin Selvan to finally start rolling from November in Thailand?

Ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan is finally expected to start rolling from November end in Thailand. Sources from the team say that Mani is planning a long 120-day shoot for the project. If there is any delay, the film will go on floors from December.

Currently, national award-winning art director Thotta Tharani is busy planning to construct huge sets inside lush green forests in the country. Chiyaan Vikram, Nayanthara, Anushka Shetty, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Keerthy Suresh, and Aishwarya Rai play significant roles in the film, which will have music composed by AR Rahman. All the lead actors have been asked by Ratnam to grow long hair to resemble the period timeline of the story.
