Podhuvaga Emmanasu Thangam clears censors with U; August release

Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Podhuvaga Emmanasu Thangam helmed by debutant director Thalapathy Prabhu has cleared censors with a clean U certificate. The movie is gearing up for release next month.

Bankrolled by Sri Thenandal Films, the movie has Nivetha Pethuraj of Oru Naal Koothu fame paired opposite Udhayanidhi Stalin. Soori has been roped in to provide comic relief and Parthiepan will be seen playing a pivotal role. Balasubramaniem, who handled the cinematography for Nanbenda, has cranked the camera.
