Kaala composer Santhosh Narayanan, when told by someone to save Thala Ajith from director Siva, responded promptly in a dignified manner.

He also expressed his wish to work with Thala Ajith. When someone asked him about missing Rajinikanth’s ongoing film with director Karthik Subbaraj, Santhosh said Anirudh Ravichander deserved this opportunity, which has been a long due.

Calling Kaala as his most cherished work, Santhosh Narayanan also compared the film to Marvel’s blockbuster Black Panther in terms of how layered it was.
