Official: Puli first look and teaser on Vijay birthday

The first look poster and teaser are will be unveiled on June 22nd for Vijay’s birthday, confirmed director Chimbuvdevan through a video message. The audio launch is expected to be held in July. Sources say Vijay, who is on a trip with his family to London, is unlikely to come to India to celebrate his birthday this year.

The overseas rights for Vijay’s Puli have already been grabbed by Ayngaran International for Rs. 14 crores excluding print and publicity costs. It was only two days back, Shibu Thameens, one of the producers of Puli, confirmed that they are releasing the film in Kerala under their own banner. Meanwhile, the distribution rights for Karnataka have been acquired by Cheluvambika Pictures owned by S Narayan.
