Not a single boring scene in Yaamirukka Bayamey

Horror-comedies rarely arrive to the shores of Kollywood. And when they do, they either end up underwhelming or disappointing. Yaamirukka Bayamey, a horror-comedy written and directed by Deekay looks interesting going by the trailer cut released few days back. Shot entirely in Nainital, Uttarakhand, a house marks the central theme of the film. “Horror comedies are not easy to pull because you need to know how to strike a balance between the two genres. You need to make a horror-comedy in such a way that the thrills and comedy go in tandem”,  said the director.

“I’m confident there won’t be single scene where the audience would feel bored”, Deekay said with confidence. The six-time national award winner, Sreekar Prasad is the editor of the film and his work is evident in the trailer. Editing plays a crucial role in horror films along with visual and sound effects. Yaamirukka Bayamey is produced by Elred Kumar for RS Infotainment and features Krishna, Rupa Manjari, Oviya and Karunakaran. It is scheduled for a release in May.
