“No one should experiment sequel to Baasha,” says Suresh Krishna

It’s been more than two decades since the blockbuster Baasha saw the light of day. For the past few years, there have been reports of a sequel to the film in the media but nothing has materialized yet. There were even rumors few weeks back that Suresh Krishna has been approached to direct Ajith in Baasha 2. But, he cleared the air denying the news.

“Baasha is a classic which still has same magnetic power it had in the hearts of audiences two decades back. No one should try to experiment a sequel to the film,” says Suresh Krishna.
