“Never even dreamt of me appearing on screen when SPB’s voice reverberates in the theatres”
Karthi is quite enthused that he will be appearing on screen and groove to the legendary vocals of veteran singer SPB, who has crooned a song for the album of Dev.
Taking to his Facebook page, Karthi posted: “SPB Sir sings for #DEV. From National Panasonic radio set days as a kid till date.. always spellbound by his magical voice… Never even dreamt of me appearing on screen when his voice reverberates in the theatres. #Surreal.” [sic]
The film has music composed by Harris Jayaraj. Produced by Prince Pictures, Dev has Rakul Preet playing the lead heroine. The makers are trying to release the film on December 21st for the Christmas weekend.
