I have never been afraid of censor board: Kamal Haasan

Speaking at the book launch of Mumbai-based author-journalist Ashok K Banker’s historical fiction Ten Kings, Kamal Haasan said he has never been afraid of censor board officials in his entire career. This messaged was addressed to one of the censor board officials who were present at the occasion. “Senior censor board member has come. Everyone says they are afraid and quite wary of him. I have never been afraid of censor board in my career. And, I will remain the same in future too. He’s doing his duty. Problems usually start to surface for my films only after he grants certification,” said Kamal Haasan light-heartedly.

Kamal Haasan has completed all three films – Papanasam, Uttama Villain and Vishwaroopam 2 – which he was working on. Now, all three films are onto post-production stage and Uttama Villain is likely to release in January 2015. Meanwhile, speculations are already running wild on Kamal Haasan’s next film.
