Naga Chaitanya wants to act in Tamil

Actor Naga Chaitanya, son of Nagarjuna, wants to act in Tamil cinema but he hasn’t found any concrete role yet. His cameo appearance in Gautham Menon’s Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa remains his only stint with Kollywood. He was well-known for reprising Simbu’s role in VTV’s Telugu version Ye Maaya Chesave. He is known for his frequent collaboration with Samantha.

“I would like to branch out to Tami since I know the language, but haven’t come across anything concrete to take the plunge. I have been talking to a few directors and most of them are interested in doing bilinguals, so let’s see how it pans out,” Chaitanya told IANS. Chaitanya, who is basking in the overwhelming success of Telugu family drama “Manam”, is currently awaiting the release of romantic-comedy “Oka Laila Kosam” in the same language.
