Naanum Rowdy Thaan has opened to extraordinary reviews and with positive word of mouth from audiences, the film has taken a huge opening day collection of Rs. 2.16 crores at the box office. Dhanush, who produced the film under his banner Wunderbar Films, confirmed it on his micro-blogging page.
The Chengalpet territory occupies the major share of Rs. 50 lakhs and the occupancy rate across the state has reportedly increased today as per trade sources. “Naanum rowdy dhaan opens to a superb 2.16cr day 1 .Highest for Vijay sethupathi. Expecting a big jump today, [SIC]” wrote Dhanush.
