Mysskin to team up with Bala for ‘Pisaasu’

Master filmmaker Mysskin has directed six films in last 8 years. His first film Chithiram Pesuthadi had no takers in the market until Aascar Ravichandran acquired the film. It was a sleeper hit. His second film Anjathe catapulted him as one of the happening filmmakers in Tamil cinema. His consequent films Nandalala and Yuddham Sei were widely appreciated by the critics. His Mugamoodi received lukewarm reception and Onaiyum Aattukuttiyum is considered by many as his best work.

Now, the auteur’s next film is titled ‘Pisaasu’ and will be produced by Director Bala for B Studios. Mysskin and Bala share a good rapport and this film is a result of the same. The film is based on paranormal genre, a kind which is famous in Korean and English cinema. Mysskin’s love for korean filmmakers like Takeshi Kitano and Akira Kurosawa is well-known. We hope this to be a trend-setting film in Tamil cinema. Other details about the cast and crew are awaited. The pooja for the film will be held on May 14th and shooting is likely to commence thereafter.
