Malavika Mohanan of Beyond the Clouds fame on board Rajinikanth – Karthik Subbaraj film

Actress Malavika Mohanan of Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi’s Beyond the Clouds fame has been signed for a pivotal role in Superstar Rajinikanth’s ongoing untitled project, which is being directed by Karthik Subbaraj.

Malavika is expected to join the team for the second schedule, which is expected to kickstart from mid-September in Chennai and Coonoor. Sources say Malavika will also have a song in the film, which may be canned in Europe. The film is being produced by Sun Pictures. Bobby Simha, Simran, Sanath and Megha Akash play important roles in the film.
