Mafia tops Chennai box office in its opening weekend
Arun Vijay’s Mafia has topped the Chennai box office in its opening weekend (1.23Cr in 3 days), taking the top spot over Oh My Kadavule, which has held on very well too. Mafia is the sole new Tamil release that has got into the top five, as the other films are far from even contention.
The team of Mafia have been busy paying theatre visits across the tier-2 cities such as Coimbatore and Madurai. The makers are very happy with the response that the film has been getting, and are expecting it to go higher as the days pass.
