Maanaadu takes big 8.5+ crore opening in Tamil Nadu
Silambarasan TR’s Maanaadu has taken a bumper opening in Tamil Nadu, grossing more than 8.5 crores at the box office. The film has opened big all around even though there is the worry of rains taking down the city and the cancellation of early morning shows too.
The film is expected to take a 20-25 crore opening weekend, with the weekend bookings on fire. The word of mouth from the audience is also strong, with the screenplay of Venkat Prabhu also being appreciated big.
