Is Maan Karate releasing in mid April?

Just few days after Anirudh officially posted on Twitter about the impromptu postponement of Maan Karate’s audio release to March 16th, there is news that Maan Karate might be released during the mid of April. The trade pundits are perplexed about the release date since the IPL season will garner the interest of the populace in general and will affect the business of films to an extent as happened in previous years.

Maan Karate, the Sivakarthikeyan and Haniska Motwani starrer is directed by Thiru Kumaran, a former assistant of AR Murugadoss. The film, if opted for a release during April mid week, might have to lock horns with Kochadaiiyaan, which in all probabilities is not healthy for the trade. So, we are likely to get a clear picture on Maan Karate’s release once Kochadaiiyaan’s release date is officially announced. Fingers crossed for the Maan Karate team.
