Lingaa theatrical rights sold to Eros for 125 crores?

Speculations are running wild online that the theatrical rights of Lingaa has been sold to Eros International for a massive amount. Reports say Eros has bought the overall distribution rights in India for 125 crores and overseas for 25 crores. However, there is no official confirmation yet from the team. It is to be noted that Eros Music has already bought the audio rights for the film which has music by AR Rahman.

Lingaa is slated for release on December 12^th, 2014 and there is an unparalled frenzy for the film in the trade. The audio & trailer launch for the film is scheduled on November 16^th.
