Leo: Overseas rights bagged by Phars Films for a record price

Thalapathy Vijay’s Leo is easily one of the most awaited films in Tamil cinema, and it is now done with close to 50% of its shoot. And even before the completion of shoot, Leo’s overseas rights have been sold on outright to Phars Films who have bought it for a big price of 60 crores.

This is in turn double to the overseas rights of Varisu, which were sold for 32 crores. Leo is turning out to be huge on the pre-business table, with rights being sold for about 300 crores.
