KTVI sequel is titled ‘Upma Company’

After the phenomenal success of Kathai Thiraikathai Vasanam Iyakkam, R. Parthiepan has decided to write a sequel to the film. He has revealed that the sequel will also be written without a story and is titled Upma Company. KTVI is running successfully in the box-office and the number of screens in Chennai have been increased to a sizeable amount.

The debacle of Anjaan and good word-of-mouth publicity for KTVI has proved advantageous for Parthiepan. The details about the sequel are still under wraps. Once the script is finalized, Parthiepan is likely to announce the cast and crew soon. Meanwhile, Parthiepan confronted with the DVD shop owners with the anti-piracy team in the vicinity of Anna Nagar, Burma Bazaar and other hot-spots in the city over the past few days.
