Abhinaya, who shot to fame in Samuthirakani’s Nadodigal with a Filmfare Award, is the latest addition to Dhanush – Akshara Haasan starrer Shamitabh directed by R. Balki. The film also has Amitabh Bachchan in a pivotal role. Interestingly, Abhinaya is a hearing and speech impaired girl in real-life too. Apparently, Balki watched few of her Tamil films and was might impressed with her performances. She recently shot few scenes in Mumbai alongside Dhanush for the film.
She also has a song opposite Dhanush which will be filmed in the upcoming days. She was last seen in a brief role in Ajith’s Veeram. She is currently part of three two big-ticket films including Vishal’s Poojai – where she plays his murai ponnu, Jayam Ravi’s Thani Oruvan – where she essays the role of a scientist and two low-key films such as Piravi, Mela Thaalam and Kreshna’s Vizhithiru.
