Karthik Subbaraj calls ‘Madras’ a bold political film

If there are two gangster films which are unanimously celebrated across the board this year, they are undoubtedly Karthik Subbaraj’s Jigarthanda which inspired some great writing from critics and Pa. Ranjith’s Madras, which portrayed a new face of north Madras in all its glory. Madras has provided Karthi the much-needed comeback and it’s been receiving rave reviews from celebrities including Rajinikanth.

Now, the latest to join the list is Karthik Subbaraj who calls Madras a bold political film. “ is one of the very few films that speaks boldly about politics.Expecting dir Ranjith to come up with more bolder political films..!!,” posted Karthik Subbaraj who is busy working on the pre-production work of his next film Iraivi.
