Kappal is a laugh riot: Shankar

We earlier reported here that Shankar is reviving his missing-in-action home banner S Pictures with Kappal, a comedy entertainer directed by his assistant Karthik. It has Vaibhav, Sonam Preet and Karunakaran in important roles. Shankar took to his official Twitter page to share good words about the film. “S pictures is back with d RomCom #Kappal directd by my formr asst Karthik. Saw d movie, its a laugh riot beg to end,” tweeted Shankar.

One cannot simply rule this tweet as a promotional technique since Shankar has picked this practice of registering his opinion about good films in the recent past. He even appreciated Karthik Subbaraj’s Jigarthanda, Velraj’s Velai Illa Pattadhari in his trademark style. Kappal is likely to hit screens in November or December. It has music by Natarajan Sankaran and Sony Music has snapped the audio rights for the film.
