Kamal & Ilaiyaraja are part of a 90-min documentary on Balu Mahendra

A 90-minute documentary feature film on the veteran filmmaker late Balu Mahendra directed by RS Prasanna of Kalyana Samayal Sadham is getting ready. The documentary is titled “Master Class with Balu Mahendra” and will in-depth insights on the film-making methods of the auteur in his own words. In addition to it, the documentary also features special interviews of Kamal Haasan and Ilaiyaraja.

Director RS Prasanna posted on his official Twitter account, “Balu Sir used this Docu to teach in his film school, and considered this as the only living document of his thoughts and ideas on filmmaking.”
