Kalyani Priyadarshan confirms her debut in Tamil with Sivakarthikeyan’s next
Kalyani Priyadarshan, daughter of veteran filmmaker Priyadarshan, confirms playing the female lead in Irumbu Thirai fame director PS Mithran’s next untitled project with Sivakarthikeyan. After 24AM studios made the news official on Twitter, she took to the microblogging platform and tweeted about her much awaited Tamil debut.

To be paired opposite @Siva_Kartikeyan,directed by @psmithran under @24AMSTUDIOS and @kjr_studios is the Tamil debut I always hoped for but never knew was possible.

Earlier, there were reports that Kalyani had signed Dulquer Salmaan’s untitled film but the former confirmed that she didn’t sign on the dotted line yet. Sivakarthikeyan – Mithran film is jointly produced by 24AM Studios and KJR Studios and music will be scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
