Kadhal Sandhya tied the knot with Venkat Chandrasekhar

Kaadhal Sandhya has tied with the knot with her long-time beau Venkat Chandrasekhar, an IT professional based in Chennai. Both families planned a gala reception with the attendance of entire Tamil film industry in Chennai but with the unprecedented floods and its aftermath, the marriage was held in a simple manner in Guruvaayoor Temple, Kerala with close friends and family members gracing the occasion.

Sandhya who rose to fame with her debut film Kadhal directed by Balaji Sakthivel never managed to keep the momentum going in Tamil cinema there onwards. She later went on to play important supporting roles in a handful of films across languages. Sandhya will be donating her marriage funds for the flood-battered victims of Chennai.
