K Balachander plays ‘Margadarshi’ in Uttama Villain

K Balachander’s last onscreen role in Kamal Haasan’s Uttama Villain directed by Ramesh Aravind. KB plays Margadarshi, Kamal Haasan’s mentor in the film. The character is sketched like KB’s real life persona to render some credibility to the role. “He was amazing in the role. His performance in the introductory scene in the film with Kamal Haasan will be remembered for a long time,” says Ramesh Aravind.

Uttama Villain is currently under post-production with the sound mixing being done in the USA. The audio launch is planned in January and the film is slated to hit screens in February.
