Jyothika’s Ponmagal Vandhaal to go straight to Amazon Prime on May 29th

Jyothika’s Ponmagal Vandhaal is probably the Kollywood film that has created the maximum noise, mainly because of its direct OTT release model that has surprised many. In an official announcement, Amazon Prime have come out saying that the film will be going straight to their platform on the 29th of May, becoming the first mainstream film to hit the platform by avoiding a theatrical release.

Directed by Frederick, the film is said to be a courtroom drama where a lawyer uncovers the truths behind a child kidnapping case. The film has an ensemble cast that has many famous names, and it will be interesting to see the attention that it will be getting from the platform on the 29th.
