Joker’s Superstar moment and TN box-office report

Superstar Rajini has always been someone who genuinely appreciates good films coming out of the industry. He takes the time to call the people concerned and give his feedback about the film. The latest film to get his nod of approval is the Raju Murugan directed Joker, which completes a week in theaters. Producer SR Prabhu revealed this exciting news in his Twitter space.

Also Superstar has earlier tweeted today that, “I applaud the team of #joker, brilliant film !” 

Meanwhile, Joker grossed close to 1.8 crores in TN in its extended 4 day opening weekend. The first week TN gross is expected to cross 2.5 crores thanks to the sustained positive public word of mouth for the film and glowing reviews from the media. It is always a healthy trend to see small films such as this do fairly well at the box-office and go beyond just critical appreciation.
