Jigarthanda Double X enjoys terrific opening weekend, grosses 32 crores worldwide!
Karthik Subbaraj’s Jigarthanda Double X has turned out to be a major money spinner at the box office for the Diwali weekend, grossing more than 32 crores at the worldwide box office. The major chunk of the collections have come from TN, where it has done close to 22 crores in the first four days. In TN, the film is looking at closing numbers of around 35 crores, which is terrific!
Jigarthanda Double X has done in excess of 5 crores in its opening weekend overseas, and has good contributions of above a crore from both Kerala and Karnataka. The film has done close to 3 crores from the Telugu states, which is the only place it could do better.
