Jawan: Atlee opens up on the criticisms he faces with respect to his stories!

SRK – Atlee’s Jawan hits the screens today with massive excitement surrounding it, and the makers are super excited to see the extraordinary advance booking that it has seen in cinemas. However, ever since the trailer of the film came out, there have been many criticisms faced by Atlee saying that the film is a remix of many other films. And not only Jawan, Atlee has also faced this stick for many of his earlier films.

Speaking about it, he said “The only criticism that I get is that people keep saying that I bring back stories that they’ve already seen. If you see my friends like Karthik Subbaraj, Lokesh and Pa. Ranjith, they have adapted to different spaces in cinema such as different film-making, action, social issues etc. I’m the only one who believes in commercial cinema, star-driven films and a massy screenplay. So I’m bound to get such criticisms. But yes, my motive is to entertain the audience and make them feel for my characters. I feel I’ve succeeded so far and I’ll hopefully do again with Jawan.”
