Jagapathi Babu to play baddie in Rajinikanth’s Lingaa?

Jagapathi Babu has confirmed his participation in Lingaa, the magnum-opus in the making. This would be his second collaboration with Rajinikanth in Tamil after Soundarya Ashwin’s Kochadaiiyaan. “Who would not feel lucky to act with the Thalaivar? I’m lucky and extremely happy that I will be working with him  for the second time. When most actors are waiting for a single opportunity to work with him, I’ve got my second chance,” told Jagapathi to a daily.

It is worth bringing to your notice that Jagapathi Babu reprised the role of Pasupathy in Kuseelan’s Telugu remake Kathanayakudu. Jagapathi Babu’s recent performance as an antagonist in Telugu film Legend won him accolades from critics. When asked if he would play a negative role in Lingaa, he says, “I can’t divulge details about my role. I’ve been told that Rajini sir really liked my performance in Legend. I’m just looking forward to work with him.”
