Ilaiyaraja fans to plant 71 thousand saplings on his birthday
Ilaiyaraja who recently kick-started his fan clubs in Madurai concert Raajavin Sangeetha Thirunaal will celebrate his 71st birthday on June 2nd. Raja has always opposed to starting fan clubs under his name and there are instances where he even filed cases against detractors decades back. Now, he has understood how fan clubs could be useful to provide social benefits to the public and promote social awareness campaigns.
As part of his birthday celebrations, Ilaiyaraja fan clubs will plant 71 thousand saplings across the length and breadth of Tamil Nadu to mark Isaignani’s 71st birthday in style.
