I will not play the lead role in Marudhanayagam: Kamal Haasan

In a recent interaction, Kamal Haasan has confirmed that he will not play the lead hero in his long-gestating project Marudha Nayagam, which was flagged off nearly 22 years back and put on the backburner due to budgetary constraints.

Now, Haasan has revealed that he would like to make the film with a different actor. Although it’s disappointing that he would play the titular role, it’s good to know that the project is getting revived after staying in the cans for more than two decades.
