I respect both Vijay and Ajith: KV Anand

KV Anand, who recently got dragged into a furore on social media with the Vijay 60 news, says he respects both Vijay and Ajith. We reported about the entire story here. A superficial Twitter user posted a screenshot few days back resembling a tweet from KV Anand’s profile. “I am happy to announce that my next film is respectively #Vijay60 – a great tale of action and romance,” said the tweet. Later, the micro-blogging platform went bonkers without validating the news. KV Anand had to intervene and clarify later the news as rumor with a tweet saying, “This is a prank and a fake design. And he deleted it later. zoom & check the favourites, they r Whites & Chinese.”

Later, KV Anand was unneccessarily embroiled into a controversy for alleging a handle which posted the frivolous tweet. “Clearly someone had photoshopped my social media account and posted this piece of false information. I decided to intervene when this was getting out of hand. I share a great relationship with Vijay and have worked with him in Nerukku Ner. Because of this, there was a war of words breaking out on my profile between the fans of Ajith and Vijay. I respect both stars and we are good friends. I do not want this to be a cause of concern, which is why I deleted my post,” says KV Anand to TOI.
